Diving Education

Links to websites related to scuba diving education, in different area's of scuba diving.

Recreational Diving Education

Recreational diving or open water diving is diving no deeper than 130 feet / 40 meters, with direct access to the surface. These dives do not include planned decompression at the end of the dive. Here you find training agencies that give courses for this level of diving education.

Technical Diving Education

Technical diving can be defined as either diving to depths deeper than 130 feet / 40 meters or dives in an overhead environment with no direct access to the surface or natural light. Often technical dives also include planned decompression carried out over a number of stages at the end of the dive. This type of diving requires different gas mixes and equipment and more training. You can find the links to these training agencies here.

Cave Diving Education

Cave diving is one of the most challenging and potentially dangerous forms of diving. No matter how many open water dives you have, attempting cave-diving without the proper training is just about as dangerous as playing Russian roulette. These agencies can give you the right training.
